  Took my SUV in to get a CV joint replaced drove perfectly on the way there as it had a service only the day before I just couldn't afford both the same day and went to cheaper place for service.
  Leave mechanic yes CV fixed no worries but starts hissing and is over heating when I get home take a look hole in top of the radiator so took back to first mechanic for opinion he showed us where they popped a pin hole under the top hose very small and hard to see and he said when a radiator blows a hole it blows outwards this clearly punctured inwards and he also pointed out the bolts on plastic cover around front of radiator had 3 bolts missing no wonder it all of a sudden rattled and greasy finger prints and smudges all over it.
  Now I remind you it went in and drove perfect for a CV joint!?!
  It comes home rattling cos of loose plastic from missing 3 bolts and had a freshly punctured radiator.
  He was very touchy/defensive when we spoke about what happened to the car so told him we are going to consumer affair or fair trading only to find there has been similar complaints about this business already!
  CV work and price were great but he was refusing to let us take our own car home because of the radiator and he must fix it for $390 before we could take our own car home acting like we didn't have a choice and quite visably pissy when i still drove home to fix it with a $10 plastics patch from cheapa auto and has driven from brissy to gold coast everyday for work since
  so much for $390 to repair before we could drive it again!
  :( maybe cos my missus was the one who spoke to them and booked it all in and the car was dropped off before they opened so maybe they tried to take advantage of a female either way their scum they will damage your car and tell you that you absolutely cannot take it home unless you pay hundreds to fix it.
  Then they lectured me saying they been in the business over 30 yrs and have cameras Bastards after 33 years like you would damage someones car in the hopes of making more money outta them infront of your own cameras of course it would be done where couldnt be seen conveniently and you really should be ashamed of yourself!
  In your 33 years how many times has this been done that's actually what sickens me!
